CEMAL OKLU (1933-2003)

History:   Tevfik OKLU and his wife Cemile OKLU, migrated to Turkey from Romania in 1930. They started to reside in the Yeni Çubuk village  of  Gemerek which is a town of Sivas.Tevfik OKLU kept on doing his phaeton manufacturing and repairing art that he has brought with from Romania. Their sons Cemal and Kemal brothers has followed their father’s profession and beyond it,kept on doing agricultural tool manufacturing, steal and cold iron workmanship. Cemal OKLU whose the constructor of OKLU METAL migrated from Sivas to İzmit in 1975. He continnued his determination and work effort he enlarged his work area. Mr. Cemal OKLU’s sons Refik, Şefik and Nahit OKLU by developing iron and sheet iron section of their father’s profession, had converted the OKLU METAL to company as today’s level. OKLU METAL started to work with as sub-industry of Gazal (which was the name of Aygaz in these years...) in 1980.After this OKLU METAL had put its own targets about industry for the future. OKLU METAL is a company with it's young sprit, dynamism and reformer intelligence that is aiming to make investments and new formations.
